IMPORTANT INFORMATION! Proper operation of entrance doors is the key to long service life and reliable protection for your home!
The warranty period for entrance doors is 12 months from the date of installation, subject to compliance with storage, installation, and operation rules.
With the possibility of extending the warranty period for specific coating types:
• Polymer up to 3 years,
• LamiPre up to 3 years.
• The warranty for door hardware is 1 month from the date of put into operation.
• Avoid slamming or opening the door abruptly.
• When installing exterior doors with direct outdoor access, a protective canopy is mandatory to prevent precipitation and direct sunlight from hitting the door surface. The canopy dimensions must project at least 1.25 meters forward and extend 1 meter on each side. Claims will not be considered if the canopy is made of transparent polycarbonate.
• Do not allow dust and dirt to accumulate on the door surface and components.
• Do not use foreign objects (bricks, boards, etc.) to hold the door open.
• Periodically lubricate the hinges and adjust the locking mechanism (lithium grease is recommended as one of the most effective and durable solutions).
• Clean the door leaf and frame using a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Decorative panels should be wiped with furniture polish. Using abrasive cleaning agents is not recommended.
• To protect the door during construction or renovation work, do not wrap it in stretch film to prevent a greenhouse effect on the door leaf.
Additional Conditions
• A claim is covered by warranty if the defects discovered during operation are related to product quality.
• In the event of a warranty claim, contact the point of sale where the door was purchased. The seller accepts and forwards the claim to the manufacturer.
• Quality claims (scratches, dents, etc.) and completeness issues are accepted from the customer at the time of delivery.
• The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes to product design and configuration without prior notice.
• When doors with interior-grade film are installed outdoors.
• If the door installation is performed by non-specialists. The person performing the installation work is responsible for the installation quality.
• In the presence of mechanical or other damage caused by improper handling, storage, exposure to liquids containing abrasives, or attempts at unqualified repair or break-in;
• In the event of condensation on the entrance door, as this does not indicate a product defect, but rather high humidity and inadequate room ventilation, which causes the dew point to form on the door. If condensation appears, measure the indoor temperature and humidity to identify the cause of excessive moisture using the provided table. Choose the metal entrance door structure responsibly, as door specifications—leaf and frame thickness, insulation, exterior and interior coatings, thermal breaks, or thermal bridges—directly affect condensation formation.
• Door installation must be performed by qualified personnel only.
• After installation, test the door for smooth operation as well as proper functioning of all latches, locks, and bolts. Correct door alignment is verified by opening and closing the door—when installed properly, the door will not swing shut or open on its own. The door leaf must remain stationary in any position.
• If mounting foam is used to fill installation gaps, it is recommended to finish the door jambs with concrete mortar or cover them with a false frame (made of door-matching MDF to finish the jamb post-installation) to enhance heat and sound insulation, as polyurethane foam is not a soundproofing material and degrades over time under environmental exposure.
• Use construction tools to check that the door frame is level and that diagonal measurements match. Please note that proper installation is key to ensuring the long service life of your metal entrance door.
• Every door features an individual serial number located on the edge of the leaf and frame, on the hinge side. This serial number must match the number specified in the door passport.
• Every door must feature a 3D company logo on the exterior side, in the top corner on the hinge side.
• All doors are packaged in branded packaging featuring the company logo.
